Commercial Graduate

As a Commercial Graduate, you will join our commercial team in a dynamic two-year development role within our Oleochemicals business. You will rotate across a range of projects and responsibilities, gaining hands-on experience in trading, production, sales, and logistics. This role offers broad exposure to the full commodity value chain, combining analytical work with day-to-day commercial activities.

We are looking for a motivated graduate with initial professional experience who is keen to grow into a key contributor within our commercial team. You will take ownership early on, support business operations, and develop a strong commercial mindset in a fast-paced and international environment.

Main responsibilities:

  • Assist in pricing and purchases of materials
  • Monitor trading positions and stocks
  • Gather and analyse market data and report on that
  • Contribute to the development of new businesses
  • Handle sales to designated accounts
  • To support the Business (Unit) Managers
  • Take part in or manage projects when assigned to

 

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Master’s degree in economics/business administration/international business/chemical engineering/Agricultural Science or related fields
  • Possess prior experience of at least 1 year in commodity trading/sales/finance environment as a first job or through an extensive internship period
  • Speaking/reading/writing fluent English and Dutch, German is highly advantageous
  • Well-developed skills in MS Office (especially Excel)
  • You are pro-active, eager to learn with well-developed analytical skills, a team player and a strong communicator
  • In this job you need to have the ability to cope with pressure and unpredictable situations and have a commercial mindset
